About scouts
Scouts are aged 10.5 - 14 years old
who meet on a Wednesday night at 7.15 pm - 8.45pm.
Scouts are the third section in the scouting family who belong to a scout troop.
what do scouts do?
As a scout you get the chance to try a wider range of activities,challenges and experiences from taking part in activities kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing and zorbing plus lots more. As a Scout you can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming, There's something for every young person.
moving on
All sections have an upper age limit which allows our youth members to progress to the next section.
What happens when my child move on to the next section?
After scouts your child will move to an explorer unit
When its time to Move On, you will be contacted informing you that your child will be moving on. This happens twice per year, normally at the start of each session.
